About Loving Minds Mental Healing

Loving Minds Mental Healing was created to provide thoughtful, accessible mental health care that treats the whole person and not just symptoms. I believe meaningful healing happens when we look at the full picture, including your physical health, emotional well-being, and life experiences, because each part of your life influences how you feel and function every day.

My name is La Venia Fain. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from La Salle University and hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which has shaped my understanding of both the clinical and emotional aspects of mental health care.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC), both certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I have been a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner since 2013 and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner since 2021. For more than 10 years, I have provided integrated primary care and mental health services to individuals across the lifespan.

My professional experience includes community health, psychiatric hospital settings, and virtual care, allowing me to support individuals in a variety of settings with a thoughtful, evidence-based, and personalized approach to care.

My Philosophy of Care

My approach to care is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and honesty. I prioritize active listening so you feel genuinely heard and understood while providing clear, evidence-based guidance about your mental health, medications, and treatment options.

I believe in meeting you where you are and using plain, understandable language to help you make informed decisions with confidence.
